On May 19/June 1, 2014, the Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council, His Eminence, Metropolitan Moses of Toronto, ordained George Kouros to the Holy Diaconate in the parish of St. Joseph of Arimathea in Whitevale (Pickering), Ontario, Canada. Fr. George grew up in the parish of Saint Nektarios and under the guidance of his parents was nurtured in the Faith. Fr. George and his wife Dragina have laboured with love for many years at Saint Joseph’s. Under the guidance of Fr. Sergius, Fr. George advanced in his zeal to serve the Church.
