On December 25, 2007 (January 7, 2008), Fr Savvas of Holy Ascension Monastery was ordained to the Holy Priesthood by His Eminence Metropolitan Pavlos at the Cathedral of Saint Markella in the presence of his brother monks, fellow clergy, family, and the parishioners and guests.
