On Saturday June 16/29, the Monastery of Saint John in Cobleskill celebrated its annual feast day. The Holy Eparchial Synod, under the presidency of His Eminence Metropolitan Demetrius of America, convened on the previous Wednesday, and the conference of the clergy took place on Thursday and Friday.
The grand festivities brought a lot of joy and hope to the 400 or so faithful who attended from different parts of North America.
