Thousands of faithful flocked to the Monastery of the Holy Transfiguration in northern Moldavia to celebrate the Feast of the Holy Transfiguration of our Lord. His Eminence, Metropolitan Vlasie, President of the Holy Synod of the GOC of Romania, presided over the festivities. Many hierarchs of the Romanian Church took part along with representatives of the GOC of Greece, Metropolitan Chrysostomos, Bishop Gregory, Bishop Ambrose and Bishop Clement.
