On Monday March 11/24, 2014 in the Church of the All-Holy Theotokos “The Unfading Rose” His Eminence, Metropolitan Demetrius gave the Great Edict (Μέγα Μήνυμα) for his election as Metropolitan of America before the Holy Synod.
Τhe Great Edict is a short service whereby the newly-elected formally accepts his election and signs the decision of his election by the Holy Synod.
