On Friday, December 6/19, the parish of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Crofton, Maryland celebrated its patronal feast. A Vigil was served Thursday evening, and the Divine Liturgy in the morning. Metropolitan Demetrius of America presided, assisted by Fr. George Psaromatis, the parish rector, Fr. Christos Patitsas, Fr. Theodore Giannakopoulos, and Archdeacon Agathangelus. There were a great number of people present on this weekday liturgy, many of whom took the day off from work, and most partook of the Holy Mysteries.
After the Divine Liturgy, the clergy and faithful were invited to the home of Andreas and Maria Psaromatis in Annapolis, Maryland. The faithful were edified by the Metropolitan’s presence, and the opportunity to fellowship with one another.
