The Dialogue between the Church of the G.O.C. of Greece and the Orthodox Ecclesiastical Community of Those in Resistance
Third Joint Statement
On April 9/22, 2013 in the Monastery of Sts. Cyprian and Justina in Phylē, Attica, the third meeting occurred of the committees for dialogue between the Church of the G.O.C. of Greece and the Orthodox Community of Those in Resistance.
All of the designated members of both committees were present.
During the meeting the analytical discussion of the written report entitled “The Ecclesiological Self-Understanding of the Orthodox Ecclesiastical Community of Those in Resistance” continued based on written questions submitted on behalf of the committee of the Church of the G.O.C. of Greece. The questions discussed extensively and thoroughly for four hours in a spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding, and those points on which there is a difference of views and merit further discussion were noted.
The next Joint Meeting will take place on Thursday May 18/31, 2013 in the hall of the church “The Unfading Rose” in Piraeus.
