In 1922 the Turks burnt the great city of Smyrna to the ground. A countless number of Christians were roasted alive in this the first Holocaust of modern times.
In this program, Marjorie Housepian Dobkin, the author of the book, “Smyrna 1922 – The Destruction of a City”, is interviewed for a full hour. The program has been divided up into four 15 minutes segments.
This program was recorded before the construction of the 3 camera TV studio. Out of necessity, GOCTV taped this program using only a 2 camera setup.
